Billions of tones of clothing are sent to landfill every year, and barely 15% of post-consumer textile waste is currently recycled. Compared to previous generations, Millennials value the environment and social issues. They are also willing to pay extra money for socially responsible products when compared to the same product that is not ethically made.


White Stamp’s proposition is simple: to tackle textile waste and extend pre-loved fashion items’ lifetime through a circular consumption model – selling used every time we buy new. Consumers can trade in their pre-loved items for discounts with a purpose, at their favourite fashion brands – a sell-one-buy-one approach. The used items are then reintroduced into the second-hand market via partnerships, donated to charity or sent on to be recycled.



Fashion brands such as Farfetch, H&M and Zara are already taking advantage of the scheme along with German fashion and beauty retailer, Zalando and US tech giant, Apple.
